Our primary purpose is to carry the message of recovery to the addict who still suffers. One way we do this is by holding meetings in Hospitals and Institutions for people who are not able to attend outside meetings.

Institutions served include correctional facilities, sanitariums, detox units, juvenile detention centers, half-way houses and shelters; either governmental or private. Confinement may be voluntary or involuntary.

Through working with others in H & I's, members of Cocaine Anonymous share their experience, strength and hope.

The H&I Committee meets the first Wednesday of every month, 6:30 PM, at the CA Office located at 48 W 21st St, Suite 905.

We're trying to get together a schedule and map for the 2009 H&I commitments in the CANY Area - and you can help!

Please give the completed form to your homegroup's GSR, or attach it in an email to the H&I Director at hi@canewyork.org.

With your help - the H&I Committee of NY will be able to see what commitments we have, and more importantly perhaps, what commitments we don't. This information will allow us to grow. So, please, fill out the short form and help make 2009 the best year for H&I ever. Thank you!
